redistribution of wealth

One of my primary concerns on returning to India was the polarity that was developing between the rich and poor. After this trip I am happy that the difference is slowly vanishing. Some of the things that made me feel this are listed below. A mason shed out 2.5 lakhs to get a heart operation done in a private hospital. Daily wage workers are living in flats. All construction workers own two wheelers (bikes). Our carpenter has a bluetooth head set with which he answers calls and plays radio while working. The contractor travels in citi bus. When motivated, the workers will work overtime till 9 or 10 in the night to get the job done.
